3) Add up - make sense (The Detective was troubled by the feeling that things just don't add up.)
4) Add up - total (I can add up large number in my head easily.)
5) Adhere to - follow, stick firmly to something (We have to adhere to the rules of the game to ensure fair play.)
6) Agree with - 2 pieces of information match, the same (The story doesn't agree with what the police have told us.)
7) Amount to - total (Jimmy is so lazy that we believe he is never going to amount to much.)
8) Answer back - to reply in a rude way to someone that you are supposed to obey (The rude boy answered back to the teacher once too often, and was sent out of the classroom.)
9) Answer to - be subordinate to (The manager of the company answered directly to the chief executive officer.)
10) Ask out - invite out (Jerry is intending to ask Mona out for a movie this Saturday.)
