GSPS VIP Taxi Service

To all parents,

Please be informed that Gongshang Primary School has started a school taxi service for your child!!!
To make it more convenient for our parents, who MAY have to make alternate transport arrangements for their child on their CCA /enrichment days, the school has initiated a SCHOOL TAXI SERVICE on every...

Day: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
(Only on school days; not available during school or public holidays.)

Time: 3.45p.m, 4.15pm & 4.45p.m
Pick-up point: School car-park, near porch.

Fees for designated areas are...
1) Tampines Area----- $3.00
2) Simei & Pasir Ris Areas----- $5.00
3) Pasir Ris & Bedok Areas----- $7.00
4) Sengkang, Punggol, Bayshore & Siglap Areas----- $10.00

Pupil is to pay driver upon boarding.

Phrasal Verbs (Week 4)

1) Abide by - follow ( You have to abide by the referree's decision.)

2) Add in - to include something with something else (Don't forget to add in the flour after beating the eggs.)

3) Add up - make sense (The Detective was troubled by the feeling that things just don't add up.)

4) Add up - total (I can add up large number in my head easily.)

5) Adhere to - follow, stick firmly to something (We have to adhere to the rules of the game to ensure fair play.)

6) Agree with - 2 pieces of information match, the same (The story doesn't agree with what the police have told us.)

7) Amount to - total (Jimmy is so lazy that we believe he is never going to amount to much.)

8) Answer back - to reply in a rude way to someone that you are supposed to obey (The rude boy answered back to the teacher once too often, and was sent out of the classroom.)

9) Answer to - be subordinate to (The manager of the company answered directly to the chief executive officer.)

Purchasing of Effective Grammar and Listening Comprehension Books

Below are the details for the Effective Grammar and LC books:

EL Oral & Listening Compre : $2


Please bring along $7.60 to school on coming Monday and have it submitted to me.

I will collate and pay direct to the school bookshop.

Books will be issued out to all of you once they have arrived.

Pupils under Opportunity Fund (OF) will not have to pay.
